Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie reunite for the 20th anniversary of "The Simple Life" and decide that the best way to celebrate their iconic friendship is through the arts. They announce that they will write, produce and perform an opera based on their famous childhood song, "Words." To stage their play, they visit their hometown for inspiration, before meeting with esteemed members of the arts community and then embarking on the daunting task of staging a one-word play.
