The exterior shots of the house are similar to the same house Mitchell and Cam lived in on Modern Family
Tale
It tells the story of three very different families competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they think will solve all their problems. A very slow-paced series, but my review isn't based solely on that, but overall it's neither a great nor a bad series.
You also don't seem to care about any of the characters, despite some of the things they were dealing with
At times it felt like it was trying to be a comedy (or dry comedy) about selling houses, but then it switches to something else. The series was cliché and there were parts that were poorly acted, due to plot holes that leave you unsatisfied.
The twist within the twist during the last few episodes was really good
The cast was okay, but maybe it was the writing or the director, who didn't bring a stronger story to the screen at some points. It's not a series I would watch again, but okay enough to watch once.
