Arrogant judge Stefan Mortensen suffers a near-fatal stroke that leaves him partially paralyzed and ends up in a nursing home. Unsociable with the staff and estranged from his friendly roommate, Mortensen soon encounters a seemingly meek resident, Dave Creeley, who is secretly terrorizing the house with a sadistic game called The Jenny Penn Rule, using his dim-witted doll as an instrument of cruelty. What begins as a child's torment quickly turns into much more sinister and disturbing incidents. When Mortensen's pleas to the staff go unanswered, he takes on the task of putting an end to Creeley's terror.
